The idea for The Sacred Pause was born in the stillness of the desert.

While on retreat at MEA — the Midlife Wisdom School in Santa Fe — Anne felt a clear call to create a space where faith and spiritual leaders could experience the same depth of renewal, reflection, and possibility she encountered there.

What began as a moment of quiet insight became a retreat designed for faith leaders.

Anne oversees the strategic plan, fundraising, and partnership with MEA, guiding the continued growth of The Sacred Pause. She is also a leadership coach, supporting individuals on their own journeys of self-discovery and personal transformation.

Questions

  • The airport codes for our Santa Fe campus are Santa Fe Regional Airport (SAF) and Albuquerque International Sunport Airport (ABQ).  ABQ offers more direct flights.

  • ARRIVAL DAY: Our welcome reception for the workshop starts at 5:30 pm. The official check-in time is 3 pm. You are welcome to arrive sooner but your room won’t be guaranteed until 3 PM check in. We’re happy to take care of your bags as you explore the campus and enjoy the amenities.

    DEPARTURE DAY: There is no scheduled programming, so departures can be scheduled at any time. Breakfast is offered from 7-9 am and checkout time for your room is 11 am. You are welcome to stay on campus until you are ready to depart.

  • A Typical Day in the 5-day retreat

    • Breakfast 7 AM - 8 AM

    • Mindfulness Practice 7:30 AM - 8 AM

    • Workshop Sessions 10 AM - 1 PM‍

    • Lunch and Break 1 PM - 3 PM

    • Workshop Sessions 3 PM - 5:30 PM‍

    • Dinner 6:30/7:00 PM

  • All inclusive gourmet farm-to-table meals are provided for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Vegan, Gluten-Free, and Kosher style meals can all be accomodated. Note: the Kitchen is not Kosher but no pork or shellfish will be served.

    Private prayer rooms are available throughout the day, and any guest may excuse themselves at any time for daily prayer.
